Danielle Kosann is a fine artist with roots in photography and new media, whose colorful, textured and vibrant paintings feature whimsical worlds of fantastical creatures and familiar destinations. Working with oil and acrylic on a large scale, she weaves intricate female-centric narratives within her paintings, which are often tinged with humor and satire. She playfully uses references from architecture, theatre/film, books, art history in order to create imaginary worlds that feel familiar and nostalgic to us while playing on our collective desire and longing to escape. Danielle’s work is admired for its detailed and immersive worlds that create a sense of place in an interior that engages, inspires and captivates the viewer.

Her special project clients include The Carlyle Hotel/Rosewood Hotels and women’s luxury brands like Marfa Stance. She is a contributing artist to Graydon Carter’s Air Mail. She was formally the Creative Director and Co-Founder of popular lifestyle website The New Potato.

Her paintings are sold in a permanent gallery at the iconic Bergdorf Goodman in New York City and she had her first solo exhibition at Rosenbaum Contemporary in Palm Beach in February of 2024.
